Musticiolli Cookies
- Musticiolli are a traditional favorite of Southern Italy, and are named because of their similar shape to the eponymous pasta.
- Our Musticiolli are made using Giuseppe Termini's original recipe which calls for heavily spiced cinnamon honey dough which encases a mixture of candied fruit, apple buter, ground cake crumbs, nuts, and a few secret ingredients, and is then rolled in chopped almonds.
- Musticiolli are also known as the "Christmas Cookie" due to the bright green and red fruit that stands out against the dark dough.
- We think they taste great with Italian brandy or a hot apple cider.
